BLACK PEPPER

Black Pepper, one of the oldest known spices, has fallen into the taste of Brazilian producers. The planting grows annually, mainly in Espírito Santo, South of Bahia and Pará.

Production has been growing in recent years due to the historical increase in product prices in this period. According to IBGE's data, from 2015 to 2017 the area destined to culture grew 28% in Brazil, a number that has been growing.

We work with black pepper, and the same is classified into 3 types, according to their density:

Asta (580 grams per litre)

B1(550 grams per litre)

B2 (500 grams per litre)

Nowadays, the smell of smoke coming from the inadequate process of drying the pepper in a direct fire dryer is unwanted by most importing countries. The pepper must be dried in a yard, ovens or indirect fire dryer, free from mold and impurities.
